that's 1994, Tragic Kingdom came out in 95. so you're hearing there first 2 albums and new songs that would be on Tragic Kingdom. so if you call Tragic Kingdom the benchmark (the height of there success), the stuff they made before Tragic Kingdom was better than the stuff they made after Tragic Kingdom when/while they were ridding the commercially successful wave.
some very talented musicians in that band, but man did they choose to go down a weird road creatively.
