in the name of unmotivated progress.
the new engine stand adapters
and the engine back on the stand and 95% ready to install at this point
and in other news i found my other set of J tubes. so yeah, going to throw the empi junk on there. still have a bent bugpack header i might throw on as well. really don't want to waste my good parts on this peace of $#!+

Re: the never ending project. 71 super build
well, i just did some work around the back end of the car. yeap, that's right. i "repaired" the rubber impact strip and finally re-installed it on the bumper. got one less part in the garage and one more part on the car.
hey it's progress
i also washed it, and holy hell has the paint gone to SHIT! damn clear coat is coming off in several places and damn is the color starting to fade. kinda pissed about that. i figure that paint has got to be almost 15 years old. and it was a daily driver. so i guess maybe i shouldn't complain to badly

Bit by bit, little by little... Rome wasn't built in a day.Super_Randy wrote:well, i just did some work around the back end of the car .... hey it's progress
That's a bummer!Super_Randy wrote:i also washed it, and holy hell has the paint gone to SHIT! ...
But hey... Isn't there this contemporary craze for what some folks call "patina"?
