Moby got a lot of hate back in the day and I'm not sure why. I definitely didn't dig his music but he seemed to stick to his style and not follow trends, which I thought was admirable.

He was like a less chic Beck.

i did a little bit of a dive. at least on Moby's earlier stuff. my opinion hasn't changed. while i like that he bucked trends and did his own thing (can't help but respect that). i find his music to be, ...not great. like i didn't make it halfway through most of the songs.
