say hello to my rebuilt little friend


it's a Kyosho Stadium Baja, my first hobby grade RC. i bought it back in April 1998. i had to park it because the differential outdrive stripped out and the spur gear stripped out. i managed to rebuild it over the summer with parts from the re-released Turbo Optima. it's kind of all mixed up now, modern gears in the trans. Parma lexan version of a Tamiya Blitzer beetle/monster beetle/sand scorcher body. original Team Associated RC10T tires, Tamiya sport tuned motor. old Novak Explorer 2 speed control (so old school it doesn't have reverse), AM radio. and FINALLY after 21 years put a full bearing kit in it

new laptop!
first laptop iv ever owned. iv been using the same PC for 10 years and apparently microsoft isn't going to support windows 7 anymore (starting next year) so it was time for an upgrade.

i got board today and modified one of the cars i got last month. it had black wheels and i did't like it so i took it apart and painted them silver. also painted the mufflers silver. thinking about doing more of a race car interior as well... it's 1/64 scale so it's not going to be super detailed. but it's supposed to be a race car and im just not feeling the speed so...




...might could use a wheelie bar as well...
