Well Sir, that tool wall turned out super nice!

While wondering why you never built one for yourself this quote/saying crossed my mind:

Ordnung braucht nur der Dumme, das Genie beherrscht das Chaos.

Everybody can handle order, but only a genius can master chaos. :D

I wouldn't say I'm mastering it, I seem to just be going along for the ride :)

The basement is ready for texturing of the ceiling. I've started working on the main basement stairwell now.

Our dog eats around any wet food he doesn't like. He can tear a bone up though :)

Hell yeah, sanding gypsum!
Another great bonus are these bloodshot searing peepers...
Say hello to your ol' wheezing dusty neighborhood vampire.

My current little project involved some sawing, milling, planing and sanding
but with much less dust formation.
However - I didn't wear a dust mask so sawdust boogers here!

Re: A day in the life...

The cabinet looks fantastic! Are you changing the internals up any to get a better/different sound? I know nothing about the crafting of speaker cabinets for a particular sound, as a kid, I just built the biggest box that would fit and hope for the best :)

These speakers were built in 1993 IIRC. Although they sounded not bad the 51/4'' bass driver never
worked exactly as intended. So I decided to remove it and redesign the system for use with a sub woofer.

Here's the only (blurry) pic of the original design...

In spring 2019 the transformation started...

And here we are after a two year hiatus due to the move to a new home:
shortened frames with new baffle & back boards, a newly calculated & tuned vented enclosure for
the bass-midrange driver and an accordingly revised crossover network...
