With the way those rear wheels are toed in, I'd wager that they turned the torsion bars to the max to compensate for the weight

you never realize how big, bloated, and out of proportion the last incarnation of the beetle was until you see it next to an air cooled car

chassed that 66 down on my way to work this morning. didn't even notice it was next to a new beetle until i cropped the pic
