The two-tone combo turned out nice in combination with the new carpet IMHO...

not into how square the seats are, but i do like the grey outline piping. 8-)

Used the old OEM rubber mats and carpet pieces as templates for further trimming...

In situ trimming, fitting and cursing - clumsy fellow meets cramped confines... :lol:

Also fitted the cardboard templates for the rear kick panels...

Applied the last butyl sound insulation mats and fitted the kick panel mounting brackets...

It's "needled carpet" and quite close to the OEM fabric used on the wheel wells of my '71 Super.

Similar stuff is called needle punch carpet in America I guess...

Took the footwell vent covers apart...

Replaced the disintegrated foam seals with some felt like material...

those original? cause (and i could be wrong here) i think they're different than mine and i thought your car was the same year as mine. also i think one of mine is broken...
