Welp, that didn't last too long. Today, I wrapped up cutting out the Aquasana system and replacing it with 4(yes, 4) cartridge filters. A rope sediment, 20 micron, 5 micron, 1 micron and UV filter. A powered anode rod in the water heater is for the sulfer smell.schwim wrote: ↑May 7th, 2023, 9:14 am I am basically finished with the filter system for the well. Added the settlement tank(far left) back into the system and added a pre-prefilter ahead of everything to try to keep the more expensive filters safe from debris. I also bumped the pressure switch up to shut off at 75 lbs of pressure.
The change is because the water is so bad, it filled the filters with mud in less than a year and a half and would cost about 2k to replace after shipping in both directions.
