There's some shenanigans afoot where ddos attacks are being suffered by forum owners everywhere. It's easily managed by adding Singapore to the blocked country list that the forum uses.

That being said, I've been woefully lazy about keeping up to date with script protection so I'll be dusting off my editor and breaking many things until I've accidentally helped the situation some.

Since it's just me and you, Randy, I'm going to need you to do your part and find all the errors. This is a volunteer position as the pay scale will reflect.

As an update, it seems I hit the cap on requests I can make to the geo db to get country origin for the IPs. That's why the site's acting poorly again, I'm unable to block by country for any new visit that's using an unkown-to-me IP address.

It will take a while to build a large enough IP database so I can effectively block visits from BR, VN, SG, CN and RU. That's currently > 99% of the traffic.

ok, it works if iv posted in a thread sense the BS happened. cause you had made a few posts in the image thread and i never got notification until i posted in there. and yeah, they're going to my spam folder for whatever reason.

I bet what happened is the email didn't get sent when the shit hit the fan so the forum considered you notified and wouldn't send another for subsequent topic replies.

As for spam, it's just the unfortunate reality that sites like yahoo and google find a domain suspicious until it gets to know them and their emails and a site this small will never send enough emails to gain a sufficient level of trust. My own emails go to spam so I had to whitelist the domain.
