I like their version a lot but to be fair, the song is an earworm for me. My brother got the single cassette of the original song when it came out and he had a radio in his room and when it was bedtime, he would play the first side , in english then flip it and play the german side. Over and over and over until we fell asleep. I bet I heard that song over 100 times just in that stretch alone. I think it's more a memory for me than a song.

Wow, Pantera dude totally pulls that off! I never would have pegged him for a Lemmy-capable singer. That whole cover was fantastic.

Talking about earworms...
Just a few weeks after Nena's 99 Luftballons, Blue Monday was released.
That song was so bad ass back then. Killed my speakers in next to no time !

That was a huge hit as well. I loved the Orgy cover as well.

the 80's had a lot of those F'n head drilling songs.

and then there's that frickin song i can't remember the name of, or the band, but i can see the frickin music video. don't like the song, but damn i can't it or more accurately the video out of my head.

Wow, that's like listening to the radio in the 80's. There's also a lot of great covers from some of those.

Colin Hay did a pretty neat acoustic version of Overkill. I think it was done just for that show.

Blue Monday Covers...

The washboard player was nodding off, the tub bassist missed the only string he needed half the time, the guitarist's heart was about to explode, judging by the sweat pouring off of him but the horn player was locking it in.

Happy Birthday Jason!
