Spotted this on TheSamba...

May be it's all old hat to you but I haven't seen this setup before.
What was the purpose of this massive array of megaphones?
Was curious about the "Sas" logo with the stylized speaker and barbed wire too.
After some research I finally resolved the mystery... And shame on me - it's all about German history! :o

SAS is an abbreviation of Studio am Stacheldraht...

Even found a short video...

And a few more pics...

I loved the part where they finally met their auditory match and ran out of watts and amps to fight against the other side :)

That dude in the Heb is just maxing the cool :)

Found this in an FB group. The following text is included:

Unbelievable, but the birth of the " a " plan was created in 1925 and also has a hungarian perspective, because at that time, it was made by the " bug " of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire, the engineer of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire. For Mercedes Benz

1953 North Sea flood disaster:

I have a lot of questions about that. I just can't see how a second spark plug would change the output of that engine by any significant margin even if it's intended to be a "lagging" spark to try to benefit from any unburnt fuel.

here's the kicker. it's a Porsche engine. probably from a 356. iv got a feeling it may be a redundancy/backup for endurance racing. but really im just guessing here. :?

Oh I bet you're right, a redundant system like in a plane. Smart thinking but so complex for a 4 cylinder lawn mower. Love that exhaust though!

Dual ignition provides two advantages: redundancy in the event of in-flight failure of one
ignition system; and more efficient burning of the fuel-air mixture within the combustion chamber.

The air/fuel mixture burns relatively slow...
With two spark plugs the flame front will progress faster and more uniformly throughout the combustion chamber.

I bet that fan moves some SERIOUS air across the cylinders. Look how wide it is, like a mini jet turbine :)

Perhaps from a movie or TV show?

EDIT: Looks like it is.

Hey, that's Dudu the Superbug: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superbug_%28film_series%29

Absolutely incredible! Like Herbie, if Herbie had been more like 007!

Have we already shared a tear over this one?

how about some 80's/early 90's

That first one could sneak into other decades undetected but WOW is that second one a child of the early 90's. Suicide doors with non hidden hinges, shaved dash, flying blob paint, frenched taillights, Hawaiian rubbers....
